Buses

Buses - vehicles designed to carry passengers. Buses can carry up to 300 passengers. Buses are widely used for passenger transportation.

In structural terms most widely used are simple one-story, double-decker and articulated buses, and minibuses. Buses are used for urban transportation, intercity and international (tourist buses).

As a rule, they are equipped with a diesel engine. Buses with gas equipment are also common. Most buses have rear engine position, and rear drive, accordingly. Buses may have different axles, but among the most common are those with 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 wheel formula.

Among the largest producers are Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Scania, Neoplan.
