Five container transporters formed Truck Load Match

Five companies specializing in container transport around the port of Rotterdam have created a common company under the name of Truck Load Match. The five partners are Van den Bogerd, GTO, JGT, Van der Most and G. van der Heijden & Zn., which each own 20 % of the capital. The principal objective of this collaboration is the reduction in empty journeys, common in container transport. According to Bert van der Heijden, one of the project’s founders, the use of a common planning platform will enable these to be reduced by 30 %.
