The release of New Daily by Iveco

New Daily by Iveco

A new Daily model by Iveco, introduced to the European market, has preserved traditional reliability, exceptional efficiency and drivability of the two preceding Daily generations.

Around 80% of components and details have been redesigned, but however several elements have been preserved intact (for instance, its classic ladder frame chassis structure). The capacity of the vehicle has been increased up to 18 and 20 m3, what provides wide possibilities for the use of the new Iveco model, which is, besides that all, is now equipped with a new front suspension QUAD-LEAF. The fuel consumption has been significantly reduced, if to compare to the preceding Daily generations.

What is more, driver’s comfort has been enhanced. The cabin of the new Daily is more comfortable and ergonomic, and air conditioning systems and sound insulation systems have been advanced. The cab is divided into 5 closed compartments and is equipped with three cup holders and compartments for mobile phones and tablets.

What concerns new Daily architecture, is should be noted that the load carrying capability has been optimized due to the balance between main dimensional elements of a vehicle, such as a wheelbase, total and useful length. The available wheelbases now include 3, 000, 3, 250 and 4, 100 mm versions. Loading and unloading has been eased due to lowering of the load platform by 55 mm.

The New Daily by Iveco is equipped with new engines. A customer can choose between 2, 3 and 3-litre engines, working on diesel fuel or compressed natural gas and with various power outputs from 106 to 205 HP. The engines meet the requirements of EURO-5 and EURO-6.

The New Daily is the most expanded range in its category. This range includes both vans and chassis cabs, chassis cowls and minibuses. Iveco New Daily minibus is available in several versions: Daily Line (perfectly suitable for interurban routes), Daily Tourys (the touring bus version), Daily Citys (designed for urban and suburban areas) and Daily Pop (a school bus).

It can be said that Iveco Daily is a real “global” vehicle. To date more than 2, 6 millions of Daily vehicles have been sold in more than 110 countries. The volume of sales is going to be increased due to the investment into modernization of Iveco’s main plants, located in Valladolid, Spain and Mantova (Italy).
