Scania launches new Scania Interlink serie of suburban buses.

Scania Interlink

At the international exhibition Busworld, Scania presented a concept of a suburban bus that operates entirely on natural gas. The model also suits for transportation of people in the city and airports. The main advantage of Scania Interlink among its competitors is flexibility in use. Customers will be able to choose the power required and the type of engine installed. Just according to the customer, Scania can change the length of the bus and the number of seats. A distinctive feature of the new bus is a possibility to install Scania’s widely acclaimed 320 hp gas engine. This engine is not inferior to diesel power-generating sets and in some characteristics superior to them.

Designers and engineers of Swedish auto giant have made the front of the bus recognizable by changing the shape of the cab. Also in Scania Interlink engineers have achieved a significant increase in noise isolation and reduction of fuel consumption.

Scania has succeeded in creating a bus taking into account almost all needs of the market, it means that without any doubt the new Scania Interlink buses will find their place on the market.
