Each year the panel of judges from 19 experts and 8 European countries decides on the winners in 16 different categories. Voting takes place at two international exhibitions of agricultural machinery: German Agritechnica and French SIMA.
Claas harvesters have become Machine of the Year for the second year. At the last exhibition in 2015, the winner was CLAAS TUCANO, and this year there were no equal to the harvester LEXION 700 series. The technology of automatic flow control and cleaning of grain was also noted as the biggest innovation for harvesters.
