The new Linde Roadster models in the E20R to E35R series of forklift trucks are considered to be revolutionary. The innovative design implies the absence of the A-pillar and the availability of an optional overhead safety glass guard. Such a concept provides the operator with a much better view of the driving path and surroundings.
Instead of an A-pillar the manufacturer is taking advantage of overhead tilt cylinders, which absorb the forces acting on the mast during operation, and then direct them backwards via the overhead guard frame. This latest Roadster solution makes an essential contribution to passive safety, especially where an optimal field of view is particularly important. It concerns applications in logistics and industrial facilities, where passenger traffic is rather heavy. Thus, the new Linde forklifts are perfect for indoor use, as cabins, doors or heating are not required here. Additionally, the company offers extra equipment options, including a frameless windshield and a frameless rear window.
By the way, the brand’s E20 to E35 electric trucks allow the load capacity of 2.0 to 3.5 tonnes and represent one of the best-selling ranges of electric forklifts in Europe.
