The first type is known as a boom or truck mounted pump. The second most common type is referred to as a line pump. This is the concrete pump mounted on a trailer and equipped with steel or flexible pipelines, which are linked together. These pipelines, also known as hoses, are designed in a way to reach any place, where the concrete needs to be transferred. As a rule, line pumps perform pumping at a lower rate than boom pumps, so they are used for smaller volume concrete operations.
