• Sickle mowers feature a long bar with cutting teeth that uses a similar crisscrossing lateral motion to an electric shaver. They often do not have housing, which means more spray but also means they are more compact and mobile.
• 3-point hitch boom mowers feature a 3-point system attachment. Not all tractors are compatible with this type of system, so you should make sure to look for this capability before buying.
