The Setra S 531 DT is a reliable workhorse that I've been driving on long-distance routes for two years now – last time, on the A7 to Munich, it covered over 800 km in torrential rain without a trailer. The engine runs smoothly and reliably. Driver comfort is decent; the seat is adjustable, and the suspension absorbs potholes well. However, the price was steep when we bought it used. Reliability is excellent; I only had to adjust the air conditioning once, otherwise, it runs like a dream. Safety is reassuring thanks to the assistance systems that brake when things get tight. Overall, a great partner for the job.
