My Partner's Brutal Experience
Farm machinery CLAAS Axion 800 - 2011
My partner is a guy with 25 years of experience in wheat and rapeseed—and this Claas is the ONLY tractor he's willing to drive himself during key projects. After 7,300 hours of work, here's his unfiltered assessment:
1. On emergency projects (like sowing in the rain in October), the CMatic transmission saved our crops 3 years in a row.
2. The cost war: He calculated that the electronics (especially the integrated weighing system) saved us €11,000/year in fertilizer—but the calculator has already failed twice during the harvest (solution: restart while swearing).
