What Are the Types of Crushers

• Gyratory crushers: Also use compressive force, but between a concave interior surface and a conal “crusher” that moves down with a gyrating motion.
• Cone crushers: Similar to gyratory crushers, but with a less steep cone, used in quarries to turn rocks into gravel or sand.
• Impact crushers: Use impact force to pulverize material, with small enough pieces falling through sieve-like openings.
• Mobile Crushers: These are simply self-propelled, track-mounted crushers.
