This Hitachi KH 230-3 GLS pile driving rig the following specifications. This first owner Hitachi has been customized by Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe in the Netherlands to become a dedicated pile driving machine. This Hitachi has a special designed lattice type leader (mast) which allows impressive pile weights and lengths combined with a range of different pile driving hammers. This Hitachi machine is suitable to drive concrete piles, steel tubes or H-beams in the precast piling configuration. It is also suitable for driven cast in situ piles and for the driving of steel tubes in different lengths and diameters. This Hitachi comes with special accessories which make the machine suitable to drive piles under a 45 degree backward angle. This is an interesting feature for installing long anchor piles (H-beams with grout injection) for quay wall anchoring.
