Rollers are a type of heavy vehicle machinery used to compress and even out soil on construction or work sites. • Road rollers: these are the typical rollers most people are familiar with that feature a large drum on one or both axles and are used in road and foundation construction to crush dirt, gravel, concrete, or asphalt.
