The International Road Federation Europe and Central Asia has selected the Plovdiv Fair as the venue for its regional congress. This is the largest and most prestigious event of the year on the Old Continent. It will be held as part of the International Technical Fair, alongside the Seventh National Conference on Transport Infrastructure.
The four-day forum in September will focus on the future of mobility and infrastructure. The Congress Center at the International Fair Plovdiv is expected to host over 1,500 delegates from around the world and more than 200 speakers across 20 thematic sessions. The conference will also feature an exhibition area with the participation of leading companies in road construction, specialized software products, smart road marking, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, as well as design and engineering firms. The exhibition has the potential to attract over 20,000 visitors.
The business program will address the entire spectrum of critical issues in the sector. World-renowned experts will provide in-depth analyses on topics such as the integration of artificial intelligence into infrastructure, the management of intelligent transport systems, innovations in road infrastructure, and the development of green and sustainable technologies. Strategic discussions will cover financial models with a focus on road usage fees and funding opportunities in transport infrastructure.
From September 24 to 27, the International Technical Fair will be the hotspot for high-level networking and knowledge exchange on mobility and infrastructure. It is already confirmed that representatives from all road agencies within the European Union will attend the event.
World Leaders in Heavy Industry to Showcase Innovations at the Plovdiv Technical Fair Global leaders in heavy industry will demonstrate their cutting-edge innovations at the upcoming Technical Fair in Plovdiv. The 78th edition of this historic industrial event, the oldest in the country, will take place from September 25 to 28.
A significant focus will be on the Mechanical Engineering sector, with intensive preparations already underway for the opening. Leading manufacturers in power electronics, automation, pneumatics, and energy infrastructure have confirmed their participation. Exhibitors will present the latest advancements in electric motors, laser cutting technology, heat pumps, photovoltaics, solar collectors, LEDs, cable connectors, and pneumatic devices for industry, as well as motor oils.
In addition to the fair, the Regional Congress of the International Road Federation Europe and Central Asia will also be held. The organization has selected the International Fair Plovdiv as the venue for the largest event of its kind on the continent.
