Dieser sehr kompakte und robuste Traktorspalter erreicht einen Spaltdruck von 14 Tonnen und wird damit jedes Stück Holz spalten! Der Spalter kann einfach in die 3-Punkt-Aufhängung (Kat. 1 & 2) Ihres Traktors / Schleppers / Unimog etc. eingehangen werden. Er wird über die Hydraulikanschlüsse des Fahrzeugs versorgt, hierfür ist ein Vor- und Rücklauf erforderlich (Rücklauf drucklos). Durch die 3-Punkt-Anhebung lässt sich der Spalter wunderbar auf die gewünschte Arbeitshöhe einstellen.
Dieser Schlepperspalter hat ein Spaltmaß von satten 105 cm und einen Zylinderhub von 100 cm. Der Zylinder braucht für einen kompletten Vorlaufweg 15 Sekunden und für den Rücklaufweg 17 Sekunden.

Eine hohe Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit erreicht man durch die etwas andere Technik dieses Spalters: Hier wird das Holz vom Zylinder gegen den Spaltkeil gedrückt und kann hinten herunterfallen. Sollte sich einmal etwas am Spaltkeil- bzw. Spaltkreuz verkeilen, kann man einfach das nächste Stück nachschieben, welches dann den Weg wieder frei macht! Der Zylinder fährt automatisch wieder zurück, ohne das man den Hebel festhalten muss. Alternativ kann man ihn auch in jeder beliebigen Stellung anhalten und auch zurückfahren. Der Spaltdruck liegt auch dann immer voll an. Bei vielen anderen Spaltern muss der Zylinder erst wieder in die Ausgangsposition zurückgefahren werden, was viel Zeit kostet.
Der Holzspalter wird mit der gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen 2-Hand-Bedienung ausgeliefert.
