This very compact and robust tractor mounted log splitter reaches a splitting force of 14 tons and will split any piece of wood!
The splitter can be simply fitted to the 3-point linkages of your tractor/unimog etc. (ISO cat 1 and 2 linkages). It is operated using the hydraulic connections of the vehicle, a supply and return line is required for this (return line must be free of pressure). The splitter is easily mountable at the desired height using the 3-point hitch.
This tractor mounted log splitter has a ram stroke of 62 cm and a cylinder stroke of 57 cm. The cylinder needs 9 seconds for a complete forward phase and 10 seconds to return.
We will also deliver a 4-way splitting wedge to you, absolutely free of charge.
The somewhat different technique using this splitter will guarantee you a high working speed: The wood is forced by the cylinder onto the wedge and can fall behind, having been split. If a piece of wood should become stuck on the splitting wedge or 4-way splitting wedge, you can simply continue with the next piece which will free the way again! The cylinder automatically returns to the start position so that you don’t have to hold the lever. Alternatively you can stop the lever in any position, as well as return to the start position. The full splitting force is always applied. Many other splitters need to return the cylinder to the start position, which costs a great deal of time.
The log splitter is delivered with the legally prescribed 2-handed operation.
ATTENTION
: The device is delivered well packed and part-assembled in a wooden crate. You should allow approx. 1/2 hour for final assembly. Step by step assembly instructions as well as several detailed diagrams are part of the manual that comes with your log splitter.
