The Fruehauf Trailer Corporation was founded in 1918 in Detroit (USA) as the manufacturer and distributor of trailers and semi-trailers. In 1997 the company turned bankrupt. Nevertheless, some of the affiliated branches located in France, Mexico, New Zealand and the United Kingdom went on producing under the Fruehauf trademark. Everything started when the first order arrived: to produce a trailer for Ford T. Afterwards the company expanded and diversified the production, as well as established foreign production and distribution business units.

The British range
The Bathtub container tipper for bulk cargo is made of aluminum and the payload of it reaches 5, 7 t. By the way, it’s been presented in various colors. Also it can be fitted with a back door. The load weighing system is installed on the sideboard, what is more comfortable for load forwarders. The bathtub shape is considered an innovation in the sphere of dump truck production. This shape harmonizes and even advances the charging/effort ratio. What’s more, several variations of the frame are available: a step frame, a straight frame or a plain frame.
The Bathtub dump track made of aluminum has plain outer walls and is a perfect variant for complex transportation.
Fruehauf Floor is made of a 30 mm alloyed sheet, and is also introduced in several versions. The capacity of the vehicle reaches from 45 to 145 cu m. The present tipper is notable for its persistency and high longevity.
The Ejector trailer with the capacity of around 115 cu m is designed for the refuse transportation.
With the help of Bulk Blower with the total payload of up to 6, 7 t oversize and bulky cargo is transported. The trailer has a roof, which provides maximal protection from external influence. The present trailer is made of aluminum and is presented in the bathtub shape, as well. In this case the charging/effort ratio is also getting advanced.
The Performance Bathtub model of a tipper makes it real to increase the payload due to its stable unsmooth platform and 8 mm seamless floor.
Halfpipe is intended to carry the smallest loads in the whole range, but thanks to its stability, the Halfpipe trailer successfully combines all of the features of the Fruehauf models.
The French range
The ExpressLiner semi-trailer is a closed box and is considered a quite universal solution if the transportation of various kinds of cargo is wanted. Three Tandem models with the payload reaching 27-34 t and the capacity of 87 cubic metres are included into the range.
The MaxiSpeed range consists of curtainsider semi-trailers of three types: with a fixed or transfiguring height and with a side curtain. All the models share the same payload capability, which reaches 34 t.
MultiLiner includes 13 types of container transporters designed for various kinds of cargo, starting with all-purpose containers of different weight (up to 38 t) and capacity, and finishing with special containers, used for the transportation of liquid storage tanks with dangerous liquids.
The LoadRunner range is intended for construction works. The modification with coupled wheels designed for the operation at sites with harsh conditions exists.
There are three types of MultiLoader flat semi-trailers: standard platforms, platforms for heavy loads and low platforms. All of these are equipped with the towing device what meets the European standards of 120 or 150 mm and even 90 mm. The payload of the vehicle reaches 27-38 t.
