Question 1

What is the power architecture of the Fiat 2.2 Multijet 3 engine in H3 configurations?

Accepted Answer

The 2.2 MultiJet3 engine used in high-roof (H3) Fiat Ducato models is a third-generation heavy-duty diesel powerplant. It is available in several power ratings, typically 140 hp and 180 hp, designed to provide high torque (up to 450 Nm) for hauling heavy payloads associated with H3 configurations. The architecture is compliant with Euro 6E standards, utilizing AdBlue (SCR) and a diesel particulate filter (DPF) for emissions control, making it suitable for demanding commercial use.

Question 2

What is the expected urban range of the E-Ducato with the 110kWh battery?

Accepted Answer

The Fiat E-Ducato equipped with the large 110kWh battery pack is engineered for extensive urban and suburban use. It achieves a WLTP city cycle range of up to 420 km on a single charge. This range, combined with its powerful 272hp (200 kW) electric motor, makes it a viable solution for zero-emission last-mile delivery, municipal services, and other commercial operations within low-emission zones.

Question 3

How can SME fleet owners reclaim VAT (НДС) on Fiat van purchases in the EU?

Accepted Answer

For business-to-business (B2B) transactions within the European Union, a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) with a valid VAT number can purchase a Fiat van without paying VAT at the source. The transaction is typically processed as an intra-community supply, where the dealer issues a net invoice. The buyer is then responsible for declaring the acquisition in their own country's VAT return. This process, often referred to as a reverse charge mechanism, applies to both new and used vehicles purchased cross-border from a registered business, and the term for VAT in some regions is НДС.

Question 4

What should be inspected on a used Fiat van's sliding doors and cargo area via Truck1 listings?

Accepted Answer

When evaluating a used Fiat van on Truck1, pay close attention to high-resolution photos or video inspections of the sliding side doors and rear cargo doors. Check for panel alignment, as misalignment can indicate past damage or worn rollers. Inspect the door tracks and rollers for excessive wear or debris, which can impede smooth operation. Within the cargo area, look for deep scratches, dents, or perforations in the floor and wall linings, as this indicates the vehicle's history of heavy or improper loading.
