Question 1

How does the TRIAS III hydraulic system enhance operational speed and precision?

Accepted Answer

The TRIAS III system utilizes three independent hydraulic pumps managed by an intelligent electronic controller. This allows for optimal, load-sensing distribution of hydraulic flow to multiple functions simultaneously, such as boom, arm, and swing. By precisely matching engine output to hydraulic demand, it maintains high operational speed during complex movements and reduces hydraulic interference, leading to smoother and more precise control for the operator.

Question 2

What are the specific fuel savings of a Zaxis-7 excavator compared to previous series?

Accepted Answer

The Zaxis-7 series demonstrates up to a 10% reduction in fuel consumption in PWR mode compared to the Zaxis-6 models. This efficiency is achieved through the synergy between the load-sensing TRIAS III hydraulic system and the highly efficient combustion of the Isuzu Stage V compliant engine. The system minimizes hydraulic energy loss and allows the engine to perform work at lower, more fuel-efficient RPM ranges.

Question 3

When are heavy transport permits required for larger Zaxis excavators in the EU?

Accepted Answer

Heavy transport permits are typically required based on national and local regulations when a machine's transport dimensions or weight exceed standard limits. For larger excavators like the Hitachi ZX350LC-7 or ZX490LCH-7, permits are necessary as their standard transport weight often exceeds 40 tonnes and their width can surpass the common 3.0-meter limit. Factors such as track width, counterweight configuration, and the gross combination weight of the transport vehicle determine the specific permit class required.

Question 4

Can ConSite reports for a used Hitachi machine be accessed via Truck1?

Accepted Answer

ConSite is Hitachi’s proprietary fleet management system, and direct access is limited to the machine's owner. However, sellers on Truck1 can generate and provide ConSite summary reports, often in PDF format, as part of their sales documentation. These reports detail crucial operational data, including monthly fuel usage, CO2 emissions, idle time, and logged fault codes, offering a verified history of the machine's usage and condition.
