Question 1

How does the hydrostatic drive in Liebherr wheel loaders contribute to efficiency?

Accepted Answer

The hydrostatic drive in Liebherr wheel loaders provides stepless power to all four wheels, automatically adjusting tractive force and speed to the operational demand. This eliminates torque converter losses and allows the diesel engine to run at a consistently optimal RPM, which significantly reduces fuel consumption. Furthermore, the system acts as a hydraulic brake, minimizing wear on the service brakes and increasing operational safety.

Question 2

What is the primary function of the Litronic system in Liebherr machinery?

Accepted Answer

The Litronic system is Liebherr's integrated electronic management system for monitoring, controlling, and coordinating all key machine functions. Its primary function is to optimize power distribution between the engine, hydraulic system, and travel drive for maximum efficiency and productivity. It intelligently manages engine load to prevent stalling, adjusts hydraulic pump flow based on joystick input, and provides real-time diagnostics and performance data to the operator.

Question 3

Do dealers on Truck1 offer dismantling and shipping services for large Liebherr equipment?

Accepted Answer

Many dealers listed on the Truck1 platform specialize in the global export of heavy machinery and provide comprehensive logistics services. This often includes professional dismantling of large equipment, such as excavators or cranes, to meet shipping constraints for standard containers or Ro-Ro vessels. They can manage the entire process, including securing the equipment for transport, customs documentation, and coordination of international freight.

Question 4

How can a buyer verify the condition of a Liebherr excavator's slewing ring through a dealer on Truck1?

Accepted Answer

A buyer can request a specific inspection of the slewing ring from the seller. Professional dealers on Truck1 can facilitate this by providing a slewing bearing clearance measurement (rocking test) report, which quantifies wear. They can also supply high-resolution photos of the gear teeth and grease analysis results, which can indicate the presence of metal contaminants and the overall health of the component.
