Question 1

What are the operational advantages of Linde's Li-ION battery technology?

Accepted Answer

Linde's Li-ION batteries offer significant operational advantages over traditional lead-acid systems, including a service life up to three times longer. They support rapid and opportunity charging, allowing a battery to be partially recharged during short breaks without memory effect, which maximizes machine uptime. Furthermore, these battery systems are maintenance-free, eliminating the need for water refilling, and feature an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) to ensure operational safety and optimal performance.

Question 2

How do Linde's twin pedal and Load Control systems improve operator precision?

Accepted Answer

The twin pedal control system allows the operator to manage forward and reverse travel with separate pedals, enabling immediate and smooth directional changes without shifting feet. This design reduces operator fatigue and enhances maneuverability in confined spaces. The Linde Load Control system centralizes all mast and attachment functions into highly sensitive, fingertip-operated joysticks, providing precise, simultaneous control over lifting, tilting, and hydraulic functions, which directly improves load handling accuracy and cycle times.

Question 3

Is it possible to acquire Linde equipment with 0% VAT for an EU business?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for intra-community B2B transactions within the European Union, it is possible to purchase Linde material handling equipment at a net price (0% VAT). This requires the buyer to be a VAT-registered business in one EU member state and the seller to be a VAT-registered business in another. The transaction must be properly documented as an intra-community supply, and the buyer's VAT identification number must be verified through the VIES (VAT Information Exchange System).

Question 4

How can I verify Linde forklift mast height and free lift specifications on Truck1?

Accepted Answer

On Truck1.eu, detailed mast specifications for Linde forklifts are typically found in the technical data section of each listing. Key parameters to verify are the maximum lift height (the highest point the forks can reach), the closed mast height (the forklift's height when the mast is fully lowered), and the free lift (how high the forks can be raised before the mast itself begins to extend). If this data is incomplete, you can use the platform's messaging system to directly contact the dealer and request a photo of the forklift's data plate, which contains the official factory specifications.
