Question 1

What are the key differences between the Opel Movano-e Electric and Hydrogen models?

Accepted Answer

The primary difference is the energy storage and refueling method. The battery-electric Movano-e uses a 110 kWh battery for a WLTP range of up to 261 km and requires several hours for a full AC charge. In contrast, the hydrogen FCEV model, conceptually similar to the Vivaro-e HYDROGEN, uses a fuel cell to generate electricity from hydrogen, offering a longer range of over 400 km and a rapid refueling time of just a few minutes.

Question 2

How does the Opel FlexCargo system increase load capacity?

Accepted Answer

The FlexCargo system enhances practicality by incorporating a load-through flap in the steel bulkhead and a multi-function passenger bench seat that can fold away. This allows long items, like pipes or ladders, to extend from the cargo area into the passenger-side footwell, increasing the maximum load length by up to 1.2 meters. The system can also convert the cabin into a mobile office with a swiveling table.

Question 3

What are the rules for a 0% VAT B2B transaction on an Opel van in the EU?

Accepted Answer

A 0% VAT (or intra-community supply) transaction is possible when a business registered for VAT in one EU member state purchases a vehicle from a dealer in another EU member state. The buyer must provide a valid EU VAT identification number to the seller before the transaction. The seller must verify this number through the VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) and retain proof that the vehicle was transported from their country to the buyer's country to legally issue an invoice with 0% VAT.

Question 4

How do Stellantis-platform Opel vans compare to their Peugeot and Citroën counterparts on Truck1?

Accepted Answer

While Opel, Peugeot, and Citroën vans share a common Stellantis Pro One platform (e.g., Opel Vivaro, Peugeot Expert, Citroën Jumpy), they differ in brand-specific design elements, standard equipment levels, and available trim packages. On Truck1, buyers can compare these "sister models" side-by-side, evaluating differences in pricing, cockpit ergonomics (like Opel's specific steering wheel and instrument cluster), and included features. The core technical specifications, such as payload, engine options, and cargo dimensions, are largely identical.
