Question 1

How does the Valtra TwinTrac system benefit specialized tasks?

Accepted Answer

The Valtra TwinTrac system is a factory-fitted reverse drive option that significantly enhances efficiency and ergonomics in specialized applications. By allowing the operator to swivel the seat and controls 180 degrees, it provides a direct, unobstructed view of rear-mounted implements, which is critical for precision mowing, foraging, and forestry work with cranes. This configuration improves operator comfort by eliminating the need to twist in the seat for extended periods and allows for driving at normal speeds in reverse, increasing productivity.

Question 2

What are the key ergonomic features of the Valtra SmartTouch interface?

Accepted Answer

The Valtra SmartTouch interface is designed to minimize operator workload through an ergonomic and intuitive layout. Its core components are a 9-inch touchscreen display, a multi-function drive lever, and a hydraulic joystick, all integrated into the armrest. The touchscreen allows for simple swipe-and-tap management of all tractor settings, from engine to hydraulics and guidance. The drive lever controls speed and direction, while programmable function buttons enable the operator to assign and execute complex command sequences with a single press.

Question 3

What documentation is required to export a Valtra tractor within the EU?

Accepted Answer

Exporting a Valtra tractor within the European Union is streamlined by harmonized regulations. The essential documents required include the original vehicle registration certificate (V5/Logbook equivalent), a commercial invoice detailing the transaction, and the Certificate of Conformity (CoC). The CoC is a declaration from the manufacturer that the vehicle complies with relevant EU standards and is crucial for re-registration in the destination country. For intra-community supply, valid VAT numbers for both buyer and seller are also necessary for a 0% VAT transaction.

Question 4

How can I verify the hydraulic pump capacity of a Valtra tractor listed on Truck1?

Accepted Answer

To verify the hydraulic pump capacity on a listed Valtra tractor, first check the 'Specifications' section of the Truck1 listing for a flow rate, typically stated in litres per minute (l/min). Valtra offers different pump options, such as a standard 115 l/min load-sensing pump or high-capacity versions up to 200 l/min on larger models. If this data is missing, you should use the 'Contact Seller' button to request the tractor's specific build sheet or serial number, which can be used to confirm the factory-fitted hydraulic configuration and other optional extras.
